Betty Nwosu

Betty has over 15 years’ PR experience. She has consulted an array of clients from government institutions, iconic brands, charities, through to start-ups, in the UK and across Europe. Her expertise lies in driving purpose-led campaigns, as well as corporate communications, rooted in strategies that deliver impact.

She has worked on a variety of issues, including highly sensitive projects for UK government departments, such as modern slavery and child abuse. For over four years, she led the government’s apprenticeships programme, promoting its benefits to businesses, stakeholders, young people and their parents. She delivered National Apprenticeship Week, the Apprenticeship Awards, ensured apprenticeships were just as visible during exam results season and more.

She brought mental health first aid, to the public’s attention, campaigning for parity, especially in the workplace. She revived media interest in sexual harassment on drunken nights out through an unexpected partnership with Drinkaware and Unilad.

More recently, she has taken her passion for social purpose to the corporate world. For Lloyds Bank, she secured a partnership with the relationship charity, Relate, to deliver the M-word campaign, tackling the sensitivities around money in our relationships with loved ones. For Booking.com, she worked on their diversity agenda, celebrating women in technology. She has also worked on technology more broadly, promoting innovations such as, AI, cybersecurity, biometrics, as well as their challenges for the likes of Mastercard.
