With over 15 years’ experience, Caroline has created standout communications strategies for clients across the private, public and third sectors.
Caroline has a passion for developing campaigns that aim to change behaviour and improve people’s lives. She has led programmes for government departments including the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Department of Health and the Government Equalities Office on issues including safer travel, forced marriage, treatment of rape victims, MMR vaccine uptake and access to healthy food and vitamins for low income families.
Caroline has worked to protect consumers, driving PR for the launch of the Consumer Protection Regulations, raising awareness of data protection for the Information Commissioner’s Office and more recently, directing the press office for National Trading Standards.
Caroline has driven awareness and fundraising for charities including Guide Dogs and Fields in Trust and has worked with a range of consumer brands, with former clients including Lloydspharmacy, Nestle Waters, Coca-Cola Enterprises and Travelodge. At Barley, Caroline provides ongoing support to the in-house Corporate Affairs team at Mondelez International, home to iconic brands such as Cadbury, Oreo, Ritz and Trebor.
As well using her creativity to develop proactive campaigns, Caroline has handled highly sensitive issues, crafting messages that protect and enhance reputations and providing communications counsel to clients at all levels.
