Improving perceptions of chiropractic regulators

The Brief

The General Chiropractic Council (GCC) wanted communications support to improve external perceptions of the regulator. We interviewed a range of people and prepared a new strategy to ensure the communication fundamentals were in place.

Insights and Approach

We refreshed the visual identity of the GCC to bring it up to date and created new branding guidelines.

The previous website was no longer fit for purpose and communications with chiropractors were inconsistent.

We worked with the GCC and a website partner to create a new website with new content and an improved user journey. Chiropractors now receive monthly newsletters with all sorts of features from CPD to patient perceptions of the profession.

The Outcome

We have supported the GCC to interview chiropractors to share best practice advice on important areas including communication with patients and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. For Mental Health Awareness, we developed content – including social media cards and a video from the Chief Executive – alongside a resource pack on mental health to support and signpost chiropractors with further information on this vital issue.
