Helen Ketton

Helen is an experienced communications and engagement professional with a proven track record of delivering and implementing successful media and stakeholder programmes at a regional and national level.

Her experience spans both public and private sectors, working primarily across healthcare, property, education and manufacturing.

Now based in Yorkshire, Helen spent a number of years managing the press office for the Information Commissioner’s Office, raising awareness of the Freedom of Information Act and helping to change perceptions of data protection.

Helen’s experience extends to handling communications around sensitive and often contentious issues. She ran a regional engagement programme for the NHS on the issue of water fluoridation and has managed campaigns for the NHS Cancer Screening Programmes.

Most recently, Helen has worked extensively in the property sector, supporting regeneration specialists St.Modwen, retirement housing providers McCarthy and Stone as well as providing community relations support to National Grid.

Her expertise includes devising and implementing communication and community relations programmes around new developments – from the planning stage through to construction. Her work has been instrumental in changing public perceptions and generating support amongst local communities.
