Laura Harrison

For the past 14 years Laura has planned and delivered engaging and award-winning communications campaigns across the public, charity and private sectors.

She has worked on some of the country’s most high profile behavioural change campaigns; from keeping British holidaymakers healthy and safe whilst travelling abroad for the FCO’s Know Before You Go campaign to normalising condom use amongst young people for the Department of Health’s “Condom Essential Wear” campaign. Laura helped launch the country’s first food waste campaign Love Food Hate Waste for WRAP to tackle the amount of good food being thrown in the bin in households across the UK. She also ran initiatives for the Home Office to tackle anti-social behaviour, launched a global digital advocacy campaign for the International Planned Parenthood Association (IPPF) and delivered programmes to get the issues of forced marriage, parental child abduction and prisoners abroad talked about in the media for the FCO.

For the private sector Laura has delivered campaigns for Land Rover Europe (sustainability), Coca-Cola (recycling), and the National Lottery (promoting winners).  Laura also ran the press office and created a number of engaging campaigns for LloydsPharmacy to highlight their health services and drive footfall in store.

Laura is particularly curious (and nosey!) about people – what interests them, influences them and motivates them to make the decisions that they do.  Understanding this is the key to engaging and encouraging people to make better choices.
