Laura Street


Laura joined Barley as Head of Social Media in 2020 to lead our expanding content and social media activity. Laura has over 10 years of experience in social media previously working in house for a range of different online consumer brands including Collect+, ShopStyle and Birchbox. More recently she has worked as a content and social media consultant for The Bicester Village Shopping Collection and government advisory body Homes England.

Laura is passionate about the art of storytelling via online content and social media allowing brands and organisations to develop a strong personality. It is through this method using a variety of media formats that greater engagement is created. Whilst working with Collect+, it was Laura’s storytelling approach that led to several award nominations for a collaboration with Wrap Up London.

Starting out as a blogger having studied fashion journalism at London College of Fashion, Laura has a good understanding of influencers and the best ways to work with online content.

Laura is a dog obsessive and spends a lot of her free time running or walking through the countryside with her Spanish water dog Chancho.
