We’re excited to announce that Ben Rider has joined the Barley family, as an associate working in the environment and sustainability team. Ben comes to Barley after spending several years in the communications team at Friends of the Earth, where he worked on storytelling for everything from air pollution to climate breakdown.
A passionate communicator and campaigner for the planet, Ben will work on communications briefs across Barley’s environmental clients including Hubbub, Oceana, and North London Waste Authority.
Talking about joining the team, Ben said: “I first came across Barley a couple of years ago when it was named as best communications agency by Business Green. I have been watching the amazing work the team has been doing since then and have consistently been impressed by the holistic approach they take to campaigns and communication. Naturally, this meant that when the opportunity came up to join Barley I could not have said yes quickly enough.
“We’re at such a crucial point in time so I’m delighted to be supporting such great clients as they work to fix the planet and make people happier and healthier.”
