Chris is an expert in public consultation and political and community relations. His experience also spans media relations, strategic communications and crisis and issues management.

Chris has managed a wide range of consultation programmes across the UK on projects for housing, retail, commercial, leisure, education, waste/recycling, energy, health, Local Authority and regeneration schemes. He has delivered large stakeholder engagement programmes and community relations projects, in particular in the energy, transport and utilities sectors. At Barley Chris provides expert political advice and support to support our work on the East West Rail programme.

Chris has over 20 years of political experience, including currently being a local councillor on South Norfolk Council and a Parliamentary candidate in 2017 and 2019.
